Some people call this “self-care,” but I call it self-abuse. Here’s why.

So let me ask you this…

If somebody snorted cocaine or injected themselves with heroin, would you call it “self-care?”

Probably not, right?

Any behavior, no matter how destructive, that also feels good in the moment could be slapped with the “self-care” label.

But just because it feels good in the moment doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Depends on what it is.

What a lot of people call “self-care,” I call self-abuse.

Watch my video below to see if your definition of self-care is really self-abuse.

Especially watch this if you’re struggling with sabotaging behaviors you already KNOW aren’t good for you, but you keep doing them anyway.
