Can’t trust yourself to follow the program? Do this instead.

A lot of people–an unfortunate number–relate all too well to what I’m about to say:

That when you let yourself down enough times, you find it impossible to trust yourself.

It can happen in any number of ways.

One of the most common ways is saying yes to things you really wanna say no to, but you say yes because you think you have to for some reason.

It might be to please a friend, relative, co-worker, or even your spouse.

Or, it might be to avoid getting in trouble…or because you think you’re not a “good person” unless you agree to it.

Another common cause of not trusting yourself is not keeping your commitments to YOU.

You say you’re gonna get up early, but don’t.

You say you’re gonna complete that personal development course that you just paid for, but you don’t.

And of course, you say you’re gonna lose the weight and keep it off, but you don’t.

When you don’t trust yourself to see things through, it takes a HUGE toll. You live in fear of most everything and everyone, because you’re at their mercy. If they come at you in any way that feels uncomfortable, you don’t trust yourself to handle it. So you avoid, blame, complain, and are all-around miserable.

If you’re in this situation now, where you don’t trust yourself not to “screw it up,” it may be holding you back from giving Code Red a real shot, right?

You expect to let yourself down again, and it’s so unbearable that you refuse to even try out the program.

A woman in a 10 Pound Takedown admitted she was in that situation. She didn’t trust herself, she said.

So instead of trusting herself to follow the program, she’s trusting the program itself. Right now, that’s something she can do to make progress on her weight loss.

There have actually be a ton of Code Red Rebels who’ve done the same thing, even if they didn’t realize it.

They trusted the program. They trusted me to guide them through it. They trusted the process I have in place.

And they trusted in the result of all the people who’ve come before…results they can see with their own eyes.

Ideally, yeah, you’d trust yourself to figure things out in any situation, no matter what…including with your weight loss.

But if you’re not there yet, it doesn’t have to stop you from TAKING YOUR LIFE BACK.

Trust the process and the program. Trust that when you follow it, CONSISTENTLY (I cannot emphasize that enough), results come.

I’ve got you, okay? You don’t have to do it alone.
