Can you imagine how destructive it would be if, when watching a baby learn to walk, you told her, “You’re so stupid. You’re never going to learn how to walk. Why even try?”

And what if you kept saying stuff like that to her as she got older?

What kind of damage would it to do to her?

It’d be pretty awful, wouldn’t it?

Some people end up with parents, friends, or significant others who talk to them like that, which is heart-breaking enough.

But even worse is the fact a lot of people talk that way to themselves.

Thoughts are themes, and themes run your life.
