You hear about it all the time: Someone in a position to help others does something “awful.”
It’s something a person in that position should “know better” than to do, right?
It’s people like pastors, politicians, psychologists, teachers, and many others.
It might be something as simple as lose their temper, or it might be things like have an affair, lie, embezzle, and so on.
“How can you possibly be qualified to help others and be a positive influence when you’re doing these screwed up things?” we want to ask them.
I’m not surprised anymore when someone society wants to see as “perfect” screws up, or makes choices I don’t understand.
That attitude may sound like I’ve “lost faith in humanity,” but that’s not what it’s about.
It also doesn’t mean I tolerate screwing up. I hold people accountable all the time, in all areas of my life.
So what does it mean?
Watch my video below to find out, especially if you have a hard time when someone you look up to turns out to be less than perfect.
It will also really help if you feel you have more to give this world, but believe that because you’re not “perfect,” you’re not qualified to help others.
