Which of these 3 types of Holiday Rebels are you?

At this point in the holiday season, people have fallen into one of three camps.

Camp 1: You’ve checked out.

This group of people have given up on any kind of weight loss success through the holidays.

It could be that they’re not that serious, for whatever reason. They don’t hurt badly enough yet, or they miss their “favorite holiday foods.”

It could be they’re taking a break from caring.

It could be they’re tired of fighting with themselves and other people, and it’s “just easier” to quit for a while.

Camp 2: You’re blowing and going.

People in this group are successful despite it being the holidays. They’re eating the foods, following the lifestyle, following their Home Study program (if they have one) and staying on point.

That’s not to say it’s easy-peasy for them, but they’re doing their part and making it work.

Camp 3: You’re struggling but want to be successful.

People in this group are still fighting for it, but they’re having a tough time. Unlike the first group, they haven’t totally checked out, but they’re not following the program as well as they could be, and they know it.

When you can be successful through the holidays, you can be successful any time. If you’re not (and you still care), it could be as simple as you need more accountability.

The idea we should “go it alone” and figure everything out ourselves is appealing.

The thing is, if you’re NOT doing what will get or keep the weight off, going it alone clearly isn’t working.

I’m not saying you aren’t a strong person who is capable of staying on track by yourself. This is not about whether you can, ever.

It’s about whether you will.

As always, all I ask is that you be honest with yourself.

And if you honestly are struggling to go it alone, then get connected and let that connection fuel your success.

Get accountable, and let that accountability give you another reason to stay on track.

Yes, you CAN do it yourself.

But ARE you?
