When will I get to eat the “foods to avoid” again?

When you look at the foods to avoid side of the Code Red foods list and see a lot of the foods you currently eat, one of your first thoughts may be, “When can I eat this again?”

There are foods on the foods to avoid side that are blatantly unhealthy, like sugar and soda.

Other foods, like sweet potatoes, are healthy, but they stall weight loss in most people, so we remove them until you’re done losing weight.

As for whether you’ll be able to eat them again, yes.

But here’s something I want you to remember.

In order to keep off the weight you lose, you are NEVER going back to your old ways.

Your weight will not stay off if you go back to guzzling soda and eating Doritos whenever you feel like it.

If you’re under any illusions you can follow Code Red until you lose your weight, then go back to what you’re doing that’s keeping you fat and sick, let them go. That’s the diet mentality and it’s already failed you a million times. Code Red’s not a diet, or I’d call it the Code Red Diet.

When Code Red Rebels lose all the weight they want and are ready to maintain that weight loss, I teach you how to strategically reintroduce foods so that you do not gain your weight back.

Some foods will be no problem and your weight will stay the same. Others will cause a weight increase, and you’ve gotta know what to do if that happens.

Do not allow yourself to get obsessed with “when you can eat that again.”

Food is good, but there’s also more to life than food. It’s not the only thing that can bring you joy.

Focus on getting your weight off, then read my book, The Code Red Revolution, or apply for maintenance coaching to learn how to keep it off, while enjoying an occasional indulgence, and doing so without gaining your weight back.
