What Do I Eat? November 9, 2019

If you’re used to eating food out of a can, a box, a package, or from the drive-through, you may not understand what I mean when I say we “eat real food.”

“But isn’t the food I’m eating real food, Cristy?”

Depends on what it is. If it comes from the ground, from a plant or tree, or from an animal, rather than from a chemical lab somewhere–AND it’s the original, whole food–then it’s probably real food.

The more of your food that’s real food, the better. It doesn’t mean you have to fork over a bunch of money for “organic,” or that an occasional processed food item is gonna hurt you.

But again, the more real food, the better.

The next step to eating for weight loss on the Code Red Lifestyle™ is simple: Each meal should include a fat, a veggie, and a protein.

That simple formula helps make sure even someone brand new to eating real food, and eating like a Code Red Rebel, can understand how to eat for weight loss.

You’ll see the fat-protein-veggie formula in action in this week’s “What Do I Eat?” Click below to check it out!
