What Do I Eat? December 28, 2019

“Cristy, how can you stand to eat the same things so often??”

Two reasons.

  1. I’m someone who eats to live, not someone who lives to eat. It’s not that I don’t care at all about the taste of food, or enjoy food, but food is not the center of the universe for me.
  2. The second reason is, if what I eat gives me what I need, why would I change it up? Just for “variety?”

For me, variety is overrated. And frankly, when my Rebels are in weight loss mode, I find that people who eat what works instead of experimenting with variety get their weight off faster (especially on a custom program).

If you absolutely have to switch something up, start with one ingredient. You’ll be amazed at how something as small as a different spice, or a different fat, can make it seem like you’re eating a whole new meal.
