“Cristy, how can you stand to eat the same things so often??”
Two reasons.
- I’m someone who eats to live, not someone who lives to eat. It’s not that I don’t care at all about the taste of food, or enjoy food, but food is not the center of the universe for me.
- The second reason is, if what I eat gives me what I need, why would I change it up? Just for “variety?”
For me, variety is overrated. And frankly, when my Rebels are in weight loss mode, I find that people who eat what works instead of experimenting with variety get their weight off faster (especially on a custom program).
If you absolutely have to switch something up, start with one ingredient. You’ll be amazed at how something as small as a different spice, or a different fat, can make it seem like you’re eating a whole new meal.
This week’s “What Do I Eat?” is a meal you’ve seen me talk about before, except, instead of mayo, I used something else. Click the image below to hear what I used instead of mayo.
