“Social Dilemma” is a documentary on Netflix about the hold social medial platforms have on humanity.

That may sound grandiose, but watch the documentary and you’ll see what I mean.

I’ve used social media to grow Code Red and bring my message of hope and healing to people who might otherwise never hear it. I’m grateful for the opportunities it’s provided for me, and for the people I’ve been able to help.

Right now, Facebook is also the most convenient way to bring people together in a community. Not the only way, just the most convenient way.

But I also think social media’s gone too far in certain ways. Reminds me of that quote, “A strength overextended becomes a weakness.”

That’s why my heart’s desire for the future of Code Red is to have as little social media involvement as possible.
