Rebel victories for the week of October 31, 2020

No matter what adversity life throws your way, it’s 100% doable to stay on track. Code Red Rebels are not only experiencing victories, they’re THRIVING in ways they would not be if they hadn’t joined the Code Red Lifestyle™…and I bet my mohawk you can relate to their stories.

Here are this week’s Rebel Victories!

H.A.: It was time. None of my pants fit and I was tired of going out in workout gear all the time (even if super comfy). I was expecting tears and disappointment. These are a size 0. That isn’t even a size…. it’s a 0. They were a bit snug and I didn’t buy them but I also can’t believe I was able to put them on(and zip them!) without swearing, breaking a sweat or ripping a seam. My last jeans purchased were a size 12. I can’t remember the last time I was in single digits.

J.S.L.: Today marks my second month on maintenance and I am grateful for the knowledge of eating real foods that heal my body. I lost 145 pounds in a year and I am never going back. Last night the love of my life passed away from complications of kidney and heart failure and I was able to be there with him without issues of leg swelling and discomfort and I fit in any chair now. I am grateful for the tools to not use food to comfort me at this time. Instead I jump rope, walk, and do yoga. The picture of me wearing blue, I weighed 335 pounds and the second picture is this week maintaining at 189 pounds.

C.T.S.: When you can choose anything from your closet. I don’t have the “maybe next year” section anymore. ? I call this a win!

L.A.: NSV. It took almost a year for my husband to get on the CR train but recently he did ?. Within 2 months his A1c (which is a 3 month cumulative) went from 8.8 down to 5.0!!! I can’t wait for his next set of labs. Hopefully he will be off most of his meds ? Yay

J.M.: I am 7 pounds away from 100 pounds lost. It’s still hard to not shop in the plus size section. But today I bought size 14s. This journey has had its ups and downs and at times I still see the old me but then I see all these before and after pictures and I know I have come along way. The biggest pants are a size 24 and they were tight 10 months ago. I am now swimming in the Dallas jersey that is a 4x.
