J.C.: NSV…..(non scale victory for any new Rebels). My as of today…13 yr old son corrected me as I was talking to my mom and I made the statement…..”I CAN'T have that.” He immediately spoke up and said…”Excuse me, but that statement is wrong. Code Red is not about you CAN'T anything, it's about you CAN make a better choice. Don't wreck your brain up with that negative thought of you CAN'T.” Let me just say OMG…..I love and I am so thankful for the correction by my son! Proud Mama here!!!!!!”
W.E.: Before starting Code Red Lifestyle in January 2020 I was on insulin and blood pressure medication in that never ending cycle of weight gain > increase insulin need > more weight gain > more insulin. In addition (I had) constant pain and disformities from arthritis, fatigue and the stigma and mental & psychological toll being overweight & unhealthy takes. Just a few weeks after starting Code Red the pain and disformities from arthritis began to subside and pain is now gone. I've lost 89 lbs so far, about 50 more to go for goal! I'm off insulin and BP meds! My mental health! Wow! Finally @ 58 years old no more feeling hopeless and I have energy I never knew existed! AND the food is fantastic!
K.M.: I was just coming out of being furloughed from work due to COVID-19 and the combination of quitting smoking a few years prior along with being quarantined while eating all of my feeling resulted in my heaviest weight ever. I was desperate for something that was doable because I simply could not figure out how to add gym time to my already crammed schedule. Also, gyms were mostly closed! A friend of mine posted on Facebook that she had lost 50lbs in a really short amount of time without diet pills or shakes or auto renewing food memberships. I private messaged her and she told me about Code Red. I started my first challenge on June 1 and lost just under 16 lbs that first month! I am now down 56.2lbs and going strong!!! The best part is the people whom I’ve been able to inspire just by being an example. My amazing girlfriend started her first challenge after watching me and she’s lost just as much as I have! Both of us have inspired several of our friends and we now have a group of about six of us that support each other on our Code Red journeys. We even do a clothes exchange for when some shrink out of our clothes. Haha! I am about 50lbs away from goal weight and I am committed to seeing that by my birthday on July 13!
I.D.M.: Today is the day! 50 pounds down!I was at my heaviest ever when I started Code Red. I am now at the same weight as when I graduated from college. I have never been a small person and have been a life long dieter since I was 12. If you name a diet program, I have tried it. Code Red has given me the rules and the structure to lose weight in a way that make sense with my beliefs of real food. I have broken my sugar addiction, and food is no longer the focus of my days. This is a sustainable way of life for me! Today is a happy day! Thank you Cristy CodeRed, all the coaches and leaders, and my entire rebel support group!
