Looking good in a swimsuit

Is there anything “wrong” with wanting to slim down for your wedding (or to just not be the heavy mother of the bride)?

Is there anything wrong wanting to look good in a bikini?

But are those reasons motivating enough for you to lose your weight AND keep it off?

What happens when the wedding's over?

What about the 10 months out of the year where it's NOT swimsuit season?

A lot of people set short-term goals like “a bikini bod” or “be thin for my wedding photos” as reasons to lose weight.

I even see people use these reasons as their “why” for the 10 Pound Takedown.

Like I said, these reasons aren't “wrong.”

They're just not enough.

If you don't believe me, or don't understand why they're not enough, watch my video below. It'll make it crystal clear for you (and help you with a dose of motivation that IS enough).

Monday, July 6, 2020For me, being healthy and living this lifestyle is not about “looking good in a swimsuit” anymore.
