In my ultra-popular 10 Pound Takedown challenge, one thing I ask challengers to do is figure out why they want to lose their weight.
I ask them to DIG DEEP (and in the challenge, I explain how to do that, and why it’s so important).
When someone posts that they’re trying to lose weight for a wedding, a class reunion, or some other temporary situation, I always wanna know: Then what? Why?
Because if you don’t have a then what, you’l find yourself asking, “Now what?”
Having a goal AFTER your goal is an important, and often overlooked, part of succeeding at something long-term.
