Is self-love conceited?

Is self-love conceited? Depends on who you ask. My answer is an emphatic NO.

I’m proud to say I do love myself. But it’s not because I think I’m “perfect.” I do and say things I regret, just like anyone else. There are even things about my physical appearance that don’t exactly delight me.

But even with those so-called flaws going on, I choose to love myself.

Society has us brainwashed to believe we have to look or act a certain way to be worthy of love (from ourselves most of all), and I’m here to tell you: That is BULL CRAP.
