“If not now, when?”

“I’ll try Code Red when _____________.”

If you’ve caught yourself thinking that, here’s what I wanna ask you…

“When” what?

When the kids graduate from high school?

When things slow down at work?

When you’re making more money?

When it’s Monday?

Look, there will ALWAYS be a laundry list of reasons NOT to do something, including join the Code Red Lifestyle™.

Kicking the can down the road until “someday” is something most of us have done multiple times throughout our lives.

And I get it. There aren’t enough hours in the day to do EVERYTHING you can possibly do in this world. You’ve gotta pick and choose the stuff that means the most to you.

What I’m talking about is when you know something’s important, and you kick the can down the road again. And again. And again.

It might be taking your life back with Code Red, it might be having an uncomfortable conversation with someone, it might be starting your own business. It could be anything.

And then, one day, you realize you’ve kicked the can so far down the road that your opportunity to do whatever it is you wanna do has come and gone.

Or, if you’re lucky, you do get to experience it, but still be asking yourself, “Jeez, why the heck didn’t I do this sooner?”

If you truly know you’ll be okay with it if either of those things happen, then yeah, keep kicking that can.

But if a giant plate of regret is what you’ll be gagging down by not doing the thing you keep postponing, then don’t keep waiting for “when.”

Do the thing NOW, while it’s still an option.
