I hope I can stick with it…I’m just so sick of failing

In every single 10 Pound Takedown Challenge, there are people who introduce themselves in the challenge Facebook group by saying some version of this: 
 
“I hope I can follow the program and do well.”
 
I TOTALLY get why so many people say this. 
 
When you’ve tried every “diet” under the sun, only to not lose any weight, or worse, to gain it back with interest, believing in yourself gets harder and harder.
 
Without really meaning to, you’ve stacked up a ton of “evidence” that you “can’t” succeed.
 
I get it.
 
But you know something?
 
You don’t NEED to believe you can do it yet…
 
Because I believe in you.
 
So do my Coaches and Mentors.
 
So do your fellow Code Red Rebels.
 
We will love you and believe in you until you learn to believe in yourself.
 
All you’ve gotta do is show up and follow the program.
 
That’s it.
 
So what does following the program look like?
 
1) Eat from the foods to eat side of the foods list.
2) Avoid the foods on the foods to avoid side of the foods list.
3) Get your water in. Get your sleep. Follow the simple rules.

Even Nancy, who’s struggling with the idea of not drinking her wine, is willing to do it for 30 days and see what happens: “I get how you feel …I feel the same. I’ve done SO MANY THINGS…and have failed SO MANY TIMES. I am scared AF. But my friend who told me about Code Red said to me when she was telling me about it ‘what are you willing to give up?’. I love, and I mean LOVE my wine. But I know it’s hurting me. I have been thinking on it for the last few weeks, and even tho, as I type right now and I’m having a glass…I can give it up if it means I’ll lose this weight I am SO SICK of carrying around. Of course all the other changes too, but for me that’s the biggest. I am more hopeful than I’ve been. Let’s do this.”
