How do you overcome weight loss plateaus?

You’ve probably had a few of those days…

Where it seems like, no matter how hard you try to follow the rules, nothing happens on that scale.

A past client of mine named Nichole stalled for 21 days. This was back when I did 1:1 custom programs. Even working with me directly, and doing everything right, her weight refused to budge for 21 days.

But she hung in there and it started moving again.

Another example is a Rebel named Jennifer, who lost 160 pounds following just the challenge rules. After she lost 100 pounds, her weight plateaued for SIX WEEKS.
Jennifer kept with it, and after that six-week stall, dropped another 60 freaking pounds.

On the other end of the spectrum are the people who experience a stall, get frustrated, and give up.

I’m saying two things.

1) Plateaus are not an excuse to quit.

2) Sometimes they do “just happen,” yes.

But most of the time there’s a reason.

And it may not always be what you think…or what you want to hear. 

But the solution is often more simple than you’d expect.
