Hate veggies but know you need more? Here’s 3 delicious ways to fix them!

It’s dizzying how many different ways of eating are floating around out there. Most can’t agree on anything!

Some say dairy is okay. Some say to stop eating it.

Some say you need those 6 to 12 servings of “healthy whole grains.” Other say nope, cut them all out.

And meat. Is it good for you or not?

It’s no wonder you get confused trying to eat better.

But did you know there’s ONE thing “they” ALL agree on?

Here it is:

Eat your vegetables!!

I bet you’re not at all shocked. And I hope it tells you something about the importance of vegetables!

A lot of people (like me) love vegetables. Others just tolerate them. And some people flat-out can’t stand them.

Love ’em or hate ’em, here are three easy ways to get those vegetables in without having to taste their “veggie-ness.”

1. Smoothies! You need a decent blender for this or you’ll end up with little chunks, which no one likes!

But you can put in baby spinach leaves, some vanilla protein powder, almond milk, frozen blueberries or strawberries, and blend.

DELICIOUS, and you won’t even know the fresh spinach is there!

2. Seasonings! A few sprinkles of the simplest seasonings, like salt and pepper, can make a WORLD of difference.

Even daunting veggies, like broccoli and Brussel sprouts, taste divine when cooked the right way.

Sauté those Brussel sprouts in butter, season them with Parmesan, salt, garlic, and pepper, and prepare to have your mind blown when you taste them.

3. Zoodles (Zucchini noddles)! If you’ve never heard of Zoodles, they might sound strange.

But switch to Zoodles and you won’t miss grain or corn-based pastas. You can buy Zoodles online or even in some supermarkets.

Buy a spiralizer and you can make your own from whole, fresh zucchini.

Use them instead of regular noodles the next time you make spaghetti. They are DELICIOUS and SO much more nutritious!

Vegetables are packed with nutrients and minerals we can’t get from animal-based foods or junk food, so we need them for optimal health.

Try adding one veggie to every meal. Your body will thank you!
