And even though I absolutely love it, I’ve gotten away from it the last couple of years.
Could I make time for it if I really, really wanted to?
Yes. But right now, it’s just enough enough of a priority.
You know it as well as I do: As we live our lives, things change, and most of the time, that includes our priorities.
There’s a lot of reasons for it.
You start a business, a relationship, a job. You lose something, or someone.
In the case of SO many people who come to the Code Red Lifestyle™, their priorities have changed in a way that’s led to misery.
One of the most common reasons for this is that they’ve put themselves on the back burner…because in their mind, even their most basic needs have to come dead last, always, forever, or they’re “being selfish.”
And because of that belief, their health and happiness are paying the price.
To add insult to injury, they’re often so sick that, even if they were to make time for things that refresh and rejuvenate them, they’re in no shape to do so, physically or emotionally.
They’re fatigued, in pain, and battling disease and depression. They feel hopeless.
Many are also self-conscious about their weight, which constantly interferes with their enjoyment of life.
Listen, living your day to day life in pure misery is not the way it has to (or should!) be.
Getting back to–or finding–who you really are starts with the decision to take your life back from whatever’s tripping you up.
If your health, weight, and how you feel about yourself, are holding you back, then you have the power to DO something about it, as early as RIGHT NOW.
Getting started is one of the hardest parts. Do that, and you’re ahead of the pack.
