My nephew and his friends stayed at my cabin, and my husband, Miles, bought them a pizza, because that’s what they wanted.
Except Miles and my nephew forgot the pizza in the freezer garage of our Boise house, so it sat in there for two or three weeks.
Eventually I forgot it was even in there, but for a couple days I was keenly aware of it.
I LOOOOVE pizza. And since it was just me, and no one would ever know if I went ahead and ate the whole thing myself, I knew I needed to amp up my motivation, so I wouldn’t go into the garage, take it out of the freezer, thaw it, bake it in the oven, and eat it.
One of my top rules for keeping your weight off is to get the junk food out of your house. Battling that temptation non-stop is too much for most people.
Sometimes, though, your family may bring home crap food. Or, you may go to a friend’s house, or social gathering, and there’s crap food everywhere.
In those situations, having something motivating to you may be key to staying on track.
To learn the simple thing I do that keeps me motivated when I get tempted by food that’s gonna work against my goals for myself, watch my video below.
Let it spark some ideas that’ll work for YOU to stay on track with your weight and health goals for yourself.
