What Do I Eat? August 31, 2019

I love salads, and when I want a salad, I’ll eat a salad…

Even if I’m out of clean normal-sized bowls and have to eat out of a giant stainless steel mixing bowl…

And even if it’s eight in the morning.

That’s what I did for this week’s What Do I Eat?

The night before, I prepared some chicken, but didn’t eat it, since it was past my feeding window.

Instead, I had it ready to go the next morning. I pulled the chicken meat off the bones, mixed in some lettuce and other ingredients, and ate it for my first meal of the day.

Releasing the idea of “breakfast foods” in the morning and “lunch” or “dinner” foods for your other meals can seem weird at first, but it’s liberating.

I challenge you to try it for your next meal. Instead of eating foods society says are appropriate for that meal, eat whatever Code Red-approved foods you want.

The hangup about eating certain foods at certain times of days is mental programming. Before you decide it’s “too weird,” try it for yourself and see!
