Recipe! Code Red-approved desserts!

Chef Miles came up with a couple ideas for super simple, delicious, Code Red-approved desserts.

These won’t spike your blood sugar, and since Chef Miles dreamed them up, they’re of course amazing.

IF YOU’RE IN WEIGHT LOSS MODE, save these for maintenance.

Creamy Blueberry Chiller

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

2-4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Splenda or Stevia to taste

Pour the blueberries into a small bowl. Add sweetener to taste and stir. Then drizzle heavy whipping cream over blueberries.

The heavy whipping cream will “freeze” on the berries and create a creamy, delicious summertime treat!

Blackberry “Ice Cream”

1/2 cup full fat, plain Fagé Greek Yogurt (do NOT use non-fat; get the 4% fat option; and use plain because the flavored yogurts have TONS of sugar and are not Code Red-approved)

1/4 cup fresh blackberries

1/2 to 1 teaspoon vanilla (to taste)

Splenda or Stevia to taste

Scoop yogurt into bowl. Add vanilla and sweetener, and stir until well-mixed.

Add 1/4 cup frozen blackberries and stir to firm up yogurt mixture. Eat and enjoy!
