A glass of red wine a day is bullllll-oni

“It’s wine-thirty, yeah!”

Not if you’re a Code Red Rebel, it’s not!

One of the Code Red Lifestyle™ rules to consistent weight loss is absolutely no alcohol in weight loss mode.

“Not even the one or two glasses of red wine recommended by many health professionals, Cristy?”

Nope.

It’s hard for some people to give up their alcohol, but like I always say: Ain’t nobody getting outta hard.

Plus, if you think sneaking a glass of red wine here or there won’t hurt, think again.

You’ll face the music on the scale, and do so for up to a week.

You may also experience stomach problems, joint pain, heartburn, and worst of all, the guilt and shame of falling off the wagon.

As for red wine, or any kind of alcohol, being “good for you,” let me set the record straight.

Alcohol – including red wine – is metabolized in the liver, and your liver can’t metabolize a lot at once…especially since everything you eat goes through the liver.

Your liver’s got a big job to do, and when you’re drinking all the time, you’re overloading it.

It gets fatty and sick, and it starts storing fat on your body and around your organs.

“So, will I ever be able to drink again if I join the Code Red Lifestyle™, Cristy?”

I’ll tell you that and more, including whether some kinds of alcohol are “better” than others, in my video below. Click below to watch it.

But I don’t sugar-coat it. So if that bothers you, brace yourself.
