What REALLY causes you to stay heavy?

Debbie grew up looking just like her father.

Even when she reached age 50, she was still his “little fat girl.”

(That’s the nickname he gave her when she was a kid.)

When her father passed away in August of 2018, a part of Debbie still clung, emotionally, to the idea she still looked like him. Meaning, because she looked like him, he wasn’t completely gone, so long as she stayed fat.

But after joining the Code Red Lifestyle™ and losing weight, everything changed.

“I’ll never forget the morning I looked in the mirror and saw my mother standing there. I cried…really cried for that whole day,” she told me…because her weight – the last part of her dad she was holding onto – was gone.

“The old me would have ate myself back to him,” she told me.

But Debbie 2.0 instead found an old picture of her mom (who wasn’t heavy), and embraced how beautiful her mom was.

In so doing, she was able to stay on track and keep her 155 pounds of weight off, instead of allow her grief to send her into a feeding frenzy to gain all her weight back.

Debbie’s story is a classic example of what I mean when I say a weight problem isn’t about a weight problem. It’s a symptom of a deeper problem.

Whatever that deeper problem is for you, staying heavy won’t fix it. It won’t heal you from it. It won’t free you from it.

And it won’t prevent it from happening again.

All it will do is cause you to miss out on things like playing with your kids or grandkids, intimacy with your spouse, activities you love, confidently, going out in public, enjoying pictures instead of hating them, finding clothes you actually like AND that fit, and so on.

Something that REALLY helped Debbie identify what her weight actually represented was Code Red’s emotional eating online course, What’s Eating You?

Debbie watched one of the course modules every day for six months. Talk about dedication!

If you’re tired of self-sabotage, it’s not enough to hope your willpower will finally be enough this time.

It’s not enough to know better.

You’ve also gotta do whatever it takes to DO better, just like Debbie did.

To invest in the same online course that Debbie used to identify the root cause of her obesity – in her case, an emotional connection to her father – click here.

Notice I said Debbie used the course. Meaning, she watched all the modules multiple times. She didn’t just buy it and “not get around to” to using it.

Like I always say about Code Red: The program works when you work the program. That goes for our counseling programs, too.
