What Do I Eat? September 7, 2019

A lot of people new to Code Red are bored at the thought of eating the same thing every day.

But if it’s a food you love, why is that a bad thing?

One thing that separates Code Red from a lot lifestyles – and certainly most “diets” – is that if you have to “gag a food down,” even if it’s on the approved for weight loss mode side of the foods list, don’t eat it!

We do view food as fuel, in order to help you move away from the sabotaging mindsets that food should be a punishment or a reward or a way to cope or distract yourself.

But that doesn’t mean you have to “gag down” something you hate eating.

When left to my own devices, the food I prepare is very simple, and that works great for me. It’s also food I enjoy eating, which is why certain veggies show up again and again in my What Do I Eat? videos, including this week’s.

I wasn’t very hungry when I chose this meal. It’ll give me nutrients, including healthy fats, without making me feel stuffed. Click the image below to see what I made!
