The biggest nutrition myth

It astonishes me when I see articles from so-called “health experts” and “medical professionals” touting carbs and sugar as necessary.

The idea we “need” carbs is the biggest nutrition myth of them all.

I know it’s hard to believe. We’ve had decades of the food industry telling us things like “healthy whole grains” are not only acceptable, but required!

Well, I’m here to tell you: They’ve got it WRONG.

One reason our society is so brainwashed to believe you “have” to have all these carbs is the idea that we supposedly need carbs for energy.

Carbs are an easy source of energy for your body.

But that doesn’t mean they’re the best source (especially not the crap carbs, like sugar and wheat).

Fat is a MUCH better and more efficient energy source, because it lasts SO much longer.

See, because glucose is an easier energy source for your body to tap into, it’ll always go for the glucose first. So long as it has glucose, it won’t need to dip into your fat stores.

Eliminate the glucose, and your body will have no choice but to use your fat as fuel, and in so doing, burn it off your body.

My video below has TONS more info on why the notion you “need” allll these carbs is a load of bullcrap.

I even recommend a science-packed book that debunks the idea you need carbs for exercise. (Check it out – just be aware that this book’s food section is about eating for performance, not weight loss. And remember, exercise is not a way to address a weight problem.)
