“Do I track my food or not, Cristy?”
Tracking is not a part of 10 Pound Takedowns. We keep it pretty simple for those.
If you’ve read my book, The Code Red Revolution, you know I recommend tracking your food in weight loss mode.
Do you HAVE to on Code Red?
No…except if you get a home study program. In that case, yes, because unless you track your food, you won’t know whether you’re hitting your customized numbers.
See, tracking your food is a powerful weight loss (and even weight maintenance) tool. In my video below, I’ll explain exactly why.
Food isn’t the only thing you can track to measure your weight loss progress.
In the My Success Journal, for example, you track your weight, sleep, how you feel, and three things you did that day you’re proud of (because most people focus on what they do wrong instead of what they do right, which decimates motivation).
Some people can’t stand tracking their food, and others love it.
Some people start out not liking it, but stick with it once they realize how powerful it is.
If you’ve never tracked your food before, this video will make the benefits clear. (Hint: If you’re having trouble staying on track, tracking could be the answer.)
