H.W. – Hello Rebels, I’m from the July ‘19 challenge. Today is went to my dr’s to go over my blood work results. He was amazed at how much weight I lost and congratulated me on not gaining the Covid weight he has seen in his other patients. My A1C was a 7 and it is a 5.1. I no longer have a thyroid problem. A few things came in lower than normal such as the protein count and hemoglobin numbers and some enzyme that I can’t remember the name. He asked if I was tired, dizzy, light headed, etc. (No to all). He asked about my diet and listened very carefully. Then he said,”I’m going to go all the way back to medical school. I was told to treat the patient and not the chart. Not everyone is built the same. You are eating everything you are suppose to and are doing a wonderful job. Keep it up!” He said he isn’t concerned at all about the low results because my body is still changing AND especially because I’m doing everything I’m suppose to and I don’t have any symptoms. Thank you code red!

K.H.H.I am so excited with the changes I am experiencing I just have to share some NSV’s too.
– I can cross my legs
– I don’t need my bra extenders
– 5.5 inches off my waist and an inch off my neck!
– when standing I can see my toes and my belly doesn’t stick out beyond my breasts
– from tight 18 pants to a 12 or 14 depending on the style
I could go on. I love this lifestyle, I love this community. Thank you coaches and Cristy Code Red!
 
S.R.My “WHY” – To lose weight and look good for my son’s wedding. My NSV’s – 1. Being the groom’s hot mom! 2. Feeling great about myself. 3. Fitting into cycling clothes I haven’t fit into in more than seven years. 4. Feeling healthy and fit. 5. Pulling on my pants without unbuttoning or unzipping (WHAT?!?!??) 5. No longer enduring chronic joint pain, canker sores or acid reflux. 6. Running around and getting on the floor with my 4 y/o grandson. 7. Giving myself the gift of health and quality 9+ hours of sleep each night. 8. And the list goes on…I don’t have 100 or more pounds to lose. At the start I had 35-40 pounds to lose. I hired a dietitian for three months and didn’t lose a single pound. Then found CR and in three months (just under the wire for my son’s wedding!) I have lost 25 pounds which has been life changing. This lifestyle allows anyone to reclaim their life and health back whether you have 100+ or 50 or 25 pounds to lose. Thank you Cristy, the Rebels and this strong CR community for the support and great recipes! This lifestyle is for reals!
 
R.L. – NSV- for years Ive had abnormal cells when I have had my pap smear ever year. This year it is completely normal. My doctor wrote and even said ” Not only is your pap normal, you know longer have any bad cells at all.” Only thing that changed was CR.
