Is it REALLY possible to lose weight without exercising?

Imagine you’re 110 pounds overweight and confined to a wheelchair.

Your doctor tells you that you need to lose weight, because the extra weight is contributing to health problems.

But when you ask how to lose weight, your doctor looks like a deer in the headlights, then sheepishly says, “Well, normally I’d recommend exercise”…

But you’re 110 pounds overweight, sick, exhausted, and on fifteen medications. How are you going to exercise?

Now, it’s true that there are people in wheelchairs who compete in athlete competitions, so I’m not saying it’s not possible to get fit while confined to a wheelchair.

But again, you’re really overweight, plus sick, exhausted, and on a bunch of medication. How are YOU supposed to exercise the weight off?

Simple: You’re not. As in, you don’t even need to try it, because exercise isn’t a way to address a weight problem anyway.
