Is freedom from your constant pain possible?

I often post photos of myself outside enjoying a beautiful day of running trails.

(Remember, exercise is not a way to address a weight problem. I’m at my goal weight and exercise for other reasons.)

One time, with one of these trail photos, I wrote, “What this photo represents might surprise you: FREEDOM FROM PAIN.”

See, I’ve battled chronic back issues all my adult life. Mine aren’t as bad as some people’s, but they’re bad enough. I’ve had back injuries flat TAKE ME OUT, to where I can’t even breathe without pain.

Thankfully, it’s been years since my last back injury.

I diligently do my exercises and stretches every day to keep my back strong. I use good form, even when picking up a pencil off the floor. And 99% of the time, I eat a clean diet free from foods that trigger my back pain.

In maintenance, I’ve experimented with adding those foods back into my diet.

And immediately, my back starts to ache from my neck to my tailbone. I pop Advil like candy and I can’t sleep.

Plus, my weight shoots up, my mood turns bad, and I’m plagued by headaches and brain fog.

The way my body hurts makes me hate everything during the day. I often don’t want to get out of bed, or even go outside, and I get irritated with people.

After the wrong foods for me cause this cascade of pain and suffering, I cut them out and the pain subsides within two days (usually less).

Life sure is miserable when your body hurts all over.

So I’m very thankful that not only can I fly up the foothills in Boise and over the trails at Tamarack Resort, I’m also grateful I have the tools to identify the very thing (pain) that was stealing my life and put an END to it.

I will bet my next paycheck that for 88% of people out there who are in pain, including YOU (if that’s you), the pain is caused by diet…and THAT can be fixed.
