Most people who try Hydra-Charge (an electrolyte supplement I endorse to put in your water) love it.

But for some people, it’s too sweet.

If you’re someone who thinks it’s too sweet, I’ve got a little hack to help:

Add Redmond Real Salt or unflavored Redmond Re-Lyte to your Hydra-Charge.

You can do it in one of two ways:

1) Add Redmond Real Salt OR unflavored Redmond Re-Lyte directly to your water along with your Hydra-Charge, OR…

2) Add Redmond Real Salt OR unflavored Re-Lyte directly to your tub of Hydra-Charge.

In BOTH cases, start with way less Redmond than you think you need, because if you use too much, you can’t take it back (especially if you dump it straight into the tub of Hydra-Charge). 

If it’s not enough, add a little bit more and try again until you find a balance that works for you.

In case you’re newer to Code Red, Redmond is a company that mines sea salt from salt caves in Utah and offers it as unprocessed sea salt and in a variety of other products, including electrolyte replenishment products.

Re-Lyte is one of those products. It comes in flavored versions, so if Hydra-Charge is too sweet, you might enjoy flavored Re-Lyte instead.

You can also add plain Redmond Real Salt or unflavored Redmond Re-Lyte to your Hydra-Charge per my suggestions above!
