As a child, you probably ate when you were told to, whether you were hungry or not.
Maybe you heard stuff like, “You’re not leaving the table until clean your plate.”
If so, it means you’ve been trained since childhood to eat until the food is gone, instead of only eating until you’re full.
We’ve also got society-wide rules for when we “have” to eat, whether we’re hungry or not.
At the top of the list is breakfast, “the most important meal of the day.”
Plus we hear you have to eat three meals and two snacks a day to “keep up your metabolism”…again, whether or not you’re actually hungry.
With all that going on, it’s no wonder you feel antsy trying to figure out whether to eat, how much to eat, when to eat…
And especially, how to to know when to STOP eating.
