How to keep your fat burner ON

You’re trying to lose weight, but you really wanna eat something.

So you pull open your fridge or kitchen cabinets in search of  “what sounds good,” find what you want, and dig in.

“It’s just this once. I’ll start over tomorrow,” you rationalize.

OR, maybe you still believe the mainstream weight loss lie that you need to eat frequently to “keep up your metabolism,” and you use THAT zinger to justify eating whenever you feel like it.

It’s hard to believe there are still people saying you HAVE to eat frequently to lose your weight, because here’s the #1 biggest problem with frequent eating and weight loss.

Every time you eat (including drinking beverages with calories), you are turning your fat burner OFF.

When you eat, your body has no choice except to release insulin to help you digest and absorb your food.

If it doesn’t release insulin, you’ll quickly get sick and die. (Type one diabetics’ bodies, for example, cannot produce insulin, and they have to take it in order to live.)

Insulin is a vital hormone you NEED…AND…when insulin is present in your body, fat burning hormones shut off.

It’s a little like water temperature, in that water cannot feel hot AND cold at the same time. If it feels hot, it feels hot. It can’t also feel cold.

Your body’s ability to burn fat is a lot like that, in that you cannot have insulin present in the body AND be burning fat. It’s one or the other.

That’s why frequent eating is so bad for weight loss. It may help you not feel hungry, yet if you’re not hungry between meals, you may be eating too much!

Plus, it’s abnormal to never be hungry.

And no, I’m not saying you should take what I’m saying, overcorrect, and never eat again.

What I’m saying is that eating frequently while trying to lose weight is working against you.

By eating all day long, you’re keeping your body’s fat burning mode switch set to OFF. Eating releases insulin, and you cannot burn fat while insulin is present.

We NEED insulin, but we don’t need it in our bloodstream all day long.

Instead, we need it to do its job and back off, so that our fat burner switch goes from off to ON.

In order to lose weight, we want our bodies to use our extra body fat for fuel, and get rid of it!

But if we’re always eating, our body doesn’t need to burn our extra body fat for fuel. Fuel’s always coming in!

Using what you eat for fuel is easier and more convenient, so that’s what your body’s gonna do.

Bottom line: If you wanna get the weight off, don’t eat between meals, and don’t eat frequently.

Give your body time to digest and lower insulin levels so your fat burner can turn on; and so your body has no choice but to burn your stored fat for fuel.
