A few years ago, when I worked for a gym in Boise, I was unexpectedly fired.
It was a really bad time for me to be unemployed. Between that and the fact I didn’t see it coming, I developed a very bitter, hateful attitude about it.
That bitterness lasted for years. Just driving by that gym would trigger it.
But finally, I got to a place where I was able to get control of the anger and hateful thoughts, and let me tell you, I only wish I’d done it sooner.
