Food warrior or helpless baby – which will it be?

One thing that baffles some people who join the Code Red Lifestyle™ is that the foods list I give my Rebels is one page.

Most programs will give you pages of shopping lists with dozens, if not hundreds, of foods listed.

So why do I keep it to one page, and not list every food known to man, woman, and zebra?

Because I want my clients to be food warriors, not helpless babies who need everything spoon-fed to them.

If you’ve tried to lose weight even one time in your life, whether it was with Code Red or pre-Code Red, you know how hard society makes successful weight loss.

You go to Home Depot for paint and a new sink, and there’s candy in the checkout aisle.

You go to the pharmacy to pick up your prescription, and there’s candy there, too!

Vacations, birthdays, ladies game nights–pretty much any special occasion you can think of revolves around food. And it’s often junk food.

To not just lose all your weight, but to actually keep it off, with all that going on, you’ve got to be a food warrior.

You’ve got to be able to think critically and figure things out for yourself.

Weight loss programs that spoon feed you every little nugget of info, so that you don’t have to use your brain, are setting you up to fail.

Think of it like this.

Babies are born not even being able to hold their own head up, right? So at first, yeah, we hold it up for them.

But eventually, their neck gets stronger and they can do it themselves. We don’t put a neck brace on them!

Next they learn to sit up, to roll over, to crawl, to walk, and then to run.

We help them learn those things, and we encourage them and cheer for them. But we don’t do the work FOR them.

If we did, they’d never learn to do it on their own. And then what would happen?

Would we have to be propping them up when they’re grown adults? Or would they live life in a wheelchair?

When it comes to learning how to use real food, water, and sleep to get and keep your weight off, the Code Red Lifestyle™ works the same way.

We give you the tools, we teach you how to use them, and we support you.

But we don’t do it for you. And we work with you get you thinking for yourself when it comes to food choices, so you’re set up for success and have the confidence and knowledge to choose the right foods, no matter where you go.

So if you’re looking to be spoonfed, Code Red’s not the right program for you.

If, on the other hand, you want to finally feel – and be – in control of your weight, check us out.
