Let me make something VERY clear about my stance on exercise.
✅ YES, it has all kinds of benefits, like improved cardiovascular health, stress relief, fighting bone density loss, combating depression, and even pain relief, when done correctly and safely.
❌ NO, it is not a way to address a weight problem, because you cannot out-train a bad diet.
Gorging on junk and “making it up” in the gym doesn’t work. If it did, you wouldn’t still have a weight problem.
We also wouldn’t have more and more fat athletes popping up.
Even I was a fat athlete years ago, which is how I learned the truth:
That weight loss is 100% nutrition.
✅ When you reach your goal weight, I encourage you to begin an exercise program and make it part of your lifelong routine.
❌ Until then, STOP making exercise a self-inflicted punishment for eating food you feel guilty eating.
Exercise is a GIFT.
