Don’t be ashamed of your weight

When someone tells me they’re ashamed of their weight, I know that what they’re ashamed of isn’t actually the number on the scale.

“What, Cristy??”

That’s right. What you’re ashamed of is what the weight represents.

It represents you letting yourself down again. It represents failure. It represents feeling uninspired.

It’s important you realize this, because if you think it’s about your actual weight rather than what it represents, you’re trying to “see” something that’s not visible to you.

In my video below, I’m talking to you more about why the shame, guilt, and blame you feel about your weight is about more than your weight; and why not recognizing that makes it almost impossible to succeed at weight loss.

If you’re emotionally punishing yourself about your weight – or if it’s too painful to even think or talk about your weight – then this is exactly the video you need to hear.
