Did you know that the Code Red Lifestyle as it is today isn’t how it was when I got started?
There were certain foods I permitted in weight loss mode that I don’t anymore, like cheese.
Cheese is SO easy to overeat, and I found it was stalling people’s weight loss left and right, so I cut it out until you get to maintenance.
For my custom program clients, I used to let them eat four times more carbs than I allow now.
Another thing I used to allow that I don’t anymore is one cheat meal a week.
Of course my clients loved it when it was permitted. “Be good all week, then pig out!”
Problem was, that one cheat reversed ALL the progress they’d made. Plus, it’d take them an entire week to lose all the weight they gained with that ONE cheat meal.
So I cut that out, too. And boy did it make a difference.
It’s also where my saying “one cheat sets you back a week” comes from.
Look, chances are that if you’re reading this, you’ve been trying for years, decades, or even your entire life to lose weight.
I know how tasty the bull crap food is. I’ve been addicted to it, too, so believe me, I get it.
But after writing over 3,000 custom nutrition programs, I know what I’m talking about when I tell you one cheat sets you back a week.
Only you can decide whether it’s worth it to prolong weight loss mode over and over again for bull crap food.
I know the stuff is good and it’s everywhere, but there are ways to outsmart yourself so you don’t face temptation; or if you do face it, to overcome it.
Of course, I want you to you choose YOU, instead of another piece of pie, can of soda, or bag of chips.
But first you have to make your mind up about whether you want the fat, sickness, and misery gone badly enough to change what you eat…even if it means avoiding the bull crap food.
