On the Code Red Lifestyle, what we do flies in the face of many industry lies.
One of those is that you should get extra calories because you exercise.
There are a ton of flaws with that mindset, but the biggest problem I have with it is that people use it as an excuse to eat crap after they work out.
“I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes, I deserve a donut.”
Weight loss is 100% nutrition, which means eating donuts all the time is gonna keep you fat regardless of whether you work out.
For my meal in this week’s “What Do I Eat?”, I didn’t give myself extra calories just because I went on a run.
