Car travel food tips (including the drive-thru)

“Cristy, I’m about to go on a trip, and I’m SOOOOO nervous!! How do I stay on track?!”

Here it is: Cristy’s #1 tip for staying on track during trips and vacations:

CONTROL.

As, in you control what goes in your pie-hole. (Ain’t nobody holding you down and waterboarding you to get you to eat crap.)

As in, there’s always some element of the situation you can control…

Like researching the venue ahead of time.

Like bringing your own food.

Like choosing not to eat, because ain’t nobody gonna die from skipping a meal.

Don’t make traveling as a Rebel harder than it is, by whipping yourself into a frenzied panic, as if gun-toting food terrorists are around every corner, ready to leap out of the woodwork and force feed you cinnamon rolls.

Take a step back and look at the situation like the confident, in-control Rebel you are.

You don’t need other people’s approval or permission to take your life back. If they’re skeptical, that’s their problem. You don’t owe them an explanation.

Below I’ve got a video about travel (car travel, specifically, but much of it applies to any kind of travel), packed with simple tips for ways to stay in control and make the best choices for yourself, including how to order from the drive-thru. (A last resort, by the way, but if it’s an absolute must once in a while, my video will reveal how to go about it.)
