54: You Ain’t Getting Away With It!

weight loss and overall health issue

What Is This Episode About…

In this episode, Cari and I will have a conversation about a weight loss and overall health issue we recently came across from one of our rebels, and that is the idea that some people can put horrible foods into their bodies and still maintain their weight and health. That is so false and the fact of the matter is, “You think you’re getting away with it. You ain’t” The rebel who brought up this issue has so far lost over 100 pounds and has been in maintenance for a while, but she struggles with anger and resentment issues towards her family members because they still choose to eat junk food.

We’ll start off by highlighting that we don’t encourage our rebels to use the words, “I can’t eat…” when they’re refusing to eat something that’s not going to be good for them and to instead use the words, “I choose not to put that into my body”, because at the end of the day, not taking bad food is not a prison, but a choice. We’ve all had this experience where someone we know has always been skinny no matter what quantities of junk foods they take, and we envy them because we feel that their bodies are somehow able to keep them from gaining weight or being unhealthy. The truth is no matter how skinny one seems to be on the outside, they could be riddled with health problems on the inside with fat surrounding their organs.

That therefore means that being skinny doesn’t automatically mean one is healthy, and that they can take all manner of junk foods and get away with it. It’s a proven fact, for example, that sugar feeds into cancer cells, and it’s present in a lot of junk foods like processed beverages. So when a person makes a habit of taking such foods, they’re more and more prone to developing all sorts of cancers. Stay tuned as we share all our insights on the subject matter and make sure you apply all the actionable advice towards a healthier and better you.

What we hear people are rebels say, especially like this girl, she said they’ll see their kids or other people that are skinny on the out like skinny when you look at them, they’ll say but they’re fine when they eat it, but they’re not. You don’t know what they’re feeling. See, we have become habituated to brain fog in our society. We just have gotten used to it. We walk around with brain fog. We walk around chronically dehydrated, we walk around chronically sleep-deprived, we’ve just gotten used to this.

Intro  0:31

I’m Cristy Code Red and you’re listening to rebel weight loss and lifestyle where we believe food holds the power to heal or poison, and we believe our society has been misled regarding proper nutrition and weight loss. You’re in the right place if you’re looking for some straight-up truth, because I’m here to shed light on the lies and brainwashing that has taken place over the past five decades. Thanks so much for listening.

Cristy  0:57

Welcome back to real weight loss in lifestyle Hi, I’m Cristy Code Red author, entrepreneur, retired professional boxer. And of course, I’m here with the lovely Cari Thompson. Thank you, Sis, thank you for having me. I still would like to apply for the position where this is my full-time job. But anybody who would like me to the full-time podcast for them Monday through Friday eight to fly, please email me at No, I’m teasing. I’m teasing. You know, I was talking to the podcasting agency guys that I used to manage my podcast and I was like, maybe we should go to twice a week and they said, you know, Christy, it’s he goes, a lot of the people that will they think the same thing you’re thinking, you know, I’m like, if one a week is good than two weeks is better, and probably it’s true. But he said, a lot of people will batch record a bunch of podcasts. And all of a sudden, he’s like, we’re contacting them going, Hey, guys, we’re out of the podcast. We need you to submit more content. He said you fly through your content. He goes, you’re having a hard time getting with Cari now getting some podcasts recorded now. It’s doubly hard when you’re twice a week. So Like, just stick with once a week for now. You know both of us enjoy JJ virgin. She’s awesome. But she does three a week Christy she does a live q&a as a podcast has a guest once a week and then does her own although they’re not as long as our podcast and they’re like 15 minutes 20 and she’s awesome. I love her but I’m just saying that three a week Moses I mean she is sitting in that office podcasting all the time. No right and Joyce Meyer, I listened to her and she does one every day. And but she repurposed her Sherman’s that she does in there 15 minutes and then she has a lot of stuff on the front end she has gotten back in Yeah, it’s funny. I think probably if I repurpose a lot of my stuff, I could do more frequent podcasts. But this is just fun. We like this. We’re ranked really high in the United States. So we’re gonna keep this party going. And today is no exception. We are talking to you guys about you think you’re getting no right way with it. You ain’t Oh, Love this subject and let me just say we both know how to speak proper English. So we say we you ain’t to carry Christie ism. You think you getting away with it but you ain’t getting away with it. And we believe this in all facets of life from cheating husbands, all the way down to all sorts of stuff where people are breaking the rules where people are doing crazy stuff, where people are abusing food, abusing drugs, abusing alcohol when people are just lying on a test. Yes, I in our application. You think you’re getting away with it but you are really not getting away with it. And we have a great twist to talk about this. With regards to losing weight and health journeys. I think this kind of I was just thinking about feeling a 10 cent piece of candy at the sunset Martin or fino Idaho. I don’t remember ever doing that. I don’t think I did, because that ceiling wasn’t really a thing. Stealing was not me. I’ll talk bad about people behind their backs.

Carrie  4:05

I’ll commit that sin. But I’m not a Steeler like that is never my that was never my thing.

Cristy  4:13

Oh my gosh, Carrie, you know, this came about. Now, of course, there’s always been something we’ve said but here recently fairly recently, we have a rebel that is has been in lost a lot of weight over 100 pounds have been in maintenance for quite a while but struggles with this anger issue towards her other family members for still choosing to eat the junk food when she says I can’t eat it. In other words that she says no, we teach our rebels to not say I can’t have a blank, we teach them to instead say I choose to not put that in my body. It’s not prison. You can eat it if you want to. And so she has her. Its anger and resentment and it’s constant. It’s every day and it’s such frustration over and she’s like but they can eat it again. And I’ve said to her, but they can’t they are right now but they getting away with it. It is going to catch up with them the people that you observe in life that are doing things that are bad for them that are rough there. I’m telling you for the most part, Christy, karma is a B it comes back around and even if we’re just talking about basic pathophysiology of eating foods that make your body produce more insulin that makes your body do this do that. Let me just say one thing I have a friend Okay, I don’t think she’ll ever listen to this podcast so I’m good. Skinny is all get out. But she is what we like to call a skinny fat person. Absolutely no muscle mass completely was a fat on the inside. FTM trophy. trophy till Sophie Thank you. I knew there was. Okay. Mountain Dew all day long. eats out every single day and junk food on top of that Cheetos Mountain Dew product Says who doesn’t eat real food hardly ever eats or I mean a real food to them is a Caesar salad at a restaurant which is not a bad choice but considering everything that could be in that. Anyway, all that to say when I first met this person I was so frustrated because I would say it is not fair that they can eat this junk all day long.

I’m over here eating chia seeds and flax which I love, by the way, drinking my nut milk instead of regular milk. And I’m like, I struggled to stay not struggle, but this is a while ago, so my mindset was different. Struggling to say at 157 pounds 158 pounds, and this person is skinny and eats this crap all little Debbie’s oatmeal pies, hostess, you know, they use pictures at Krispy Kreme and it was so frustrating. And then the truth is when I talked to Christie about it Christie’s like, they’re not getting away with it. Because no matter how skinny you seem on the outside, you could be riddled with health problems on Inside, fat surrounding organs just because you’re a size two, doesn’t make you healthy does not make you healthy. We know for a fact it’s not controversial that sugar feeds into cancer cells that is worse for cancer. We know this we used to think it was oxygen. It’s not it’s a sugar that is a fuel source. And so you don’t know when you look at somebody and I also have a friend that I don’t think listens to this podcast, same thing. She’s actually part Asian, and she’s just naturally very thin. But in her clothes, but she’s just got layers of fat if you see her with a sleeveless it’s just drooping with as fat as she is a garbage gut. And so you guys, you I mean, you’re just not surprised that these people get cancer and they have a rapidly growing cancer when they continue these things. So don’t think for one second when you see someone fully clothed, you don’t and they look thin to you that you know the whole picture and they are not getting away with that. Nobody can be Use food and alcohol or whatever their choices for that long and sugar and get away with it. In fact, Carrie, we have a mutual I think it was the very first date I ever went on. And anyway, he just recently passed away, if you remember that double date, and he just recently passed away from abusing food in a very young age, and it was obesity that the obesity-related problems that killed him, and I just sat back and I just my heartache for the family. But I just sat back and said, I’m not at all surprised to see this.

Carrie  8:31

No, I’m not either. And I think what’s interesting is that we, the problem is we as a society judge the outside we judge this what other sighs you can pull over your hips. We say that is a measure of health. And the truth is I want you to be a size that you feel comfortable and the truth is, am I always going to be a stout person? I don’t mean that bad, but I’m always going to be a strong looking significant person. I Never gonna be like, Oh, your little thing I can, I could just pick you up with one arm. That’s never gonna be me. But that doesn’t mean I’m not healthy. I’m at a good weight for my size. I exercise every single day I eat right, I don’t smoke. I don’t drink. So I mean, it’s not fair that we as Americans look at a size and that’s what determines health. And the truth is, oh, Chris, you love this story. Remember, my son Chase. I know he doesn’t listen to this podcast. He’s all at the time of this recording. He’s almost 21. So he was talking about getting he really does want to eat healthy doesn’t always make the right choices. He knows what’s right. But here’s what was funny. What was he talking about Christie going and getting the pizza from somewhere and eating it. And Christy and I were like, Well, yeah, have fun with that at 20 because it 29 you ain’t getting away

Unknown Speaker  9:50

with that.

Unknown Speaker  9:52

Our genetics,

Cristy  9:54

no right and even if and he’s got the terrorist genetics, for sure, but even at 21 When you’re having you might not actually have weight on the scale, but you don’t feel the greatest. This girl that was struggling with her family, she’s got a young son around chases age that eats the junk. I’m telling you, I think that sign is actually putting on some weight but it doesn’t matter weight or no weight that is so only one small part of the equation. Yes, that kid is not and I know chase doesn’t feel super because he’s as good or he doesn’t have the ample amount of energy to clear brain when he eats that junk food. So there are so many more things going on, that you don’t know about. All you’re seeing is somebody’s size.

Carrie  10:36

Right? And I think that is a really dangerous spot to be in because it’s so sad that we’ve become so focused on the way people look Krissy because if you stood to mean next to my skinny friend, really skinny like we’re talking like size to like I’m trying tiny, super tiny. And you stood next to it. You’d be like oh my gosh, look at her in a swimsuit and look at carrying a swimsuit. Yeah, but I’m working out in our struggle. in the gym every day, I mean, she doesn’t do anything like that. So I think that it’s just, and I don’t want to get off on that. Big is beautiful. I do think everyone should love them where they are. So I don’t want to get off on that Christy do and I’m saying where you’re healthy at 330 pounds, right? No, you’re not angry? No, you’re not healthy. Yeah. So we’re not saying that don’t be writing us letters about that. But we’re saying that that is so important to realize when you’re in weight-loss mode, and that resentment comes up. And that frustration I would even be when I was losing weight, resentful at my children, my children that I love because they could stop at Baskin Robbins and have a clown cone. But I couldn’t stop at Baskin Robbins and have account con i could, but it was going to stall my weight loss progress. So I think that it’s really important even then, but they were going to pay for that later on. Do you know what I mean? That is when you’re checking your blood sugar at 45 even though you’re skinny and you all the way up when you have your first heart attack at 40. These are all Huge, huge indicators of problems that occur because of unhealthy choices. Same with smoking. I’ll never forget being a new nurse and walking outside the building to my car and seeing all the respiratory therapists and the nurses out there. Respiratory Therapists that work on people’s lungs smoking. And I thought, you see people lay in this bed every day that can’t breathe and they’re on ventilators, you take care of them. And that doesn’t stop you from smoking. Guess where they’re going to be Christie in that bed? Not too long from now. There’s no it’s just yeah, it’s very interesting to me how people do not we only focus on the outside and they are they’re going to come back. It’s going to come back around. Don’t worry.

Cristy  12:42

I’m really big on our rebels. We’re really hard on rebels to not say the words I can’t have. I said this earlier, but let me circle back around. You can have it. You absolutely can’t wait. I can’t have I can’t have no I don’t even want that phrase coming out of your mouth. You really can’t is not prison. Ultimately you choose what goes on from here to here from that last eight inches into your mouth, you really do choose it. It’s not a concentration camp. It’s not, you’re not being chained against your will. You’re the one that makes that ultimate choice. So for you to sit there and say, and get mad and angry, resentful, I can’t have that. But you can. So don’t say that. But you have come to code red, and you have reached rock bottom. And you have told us that I am so sick of asking for the seatbelt extender. I am so sick of pricking my finger six times. I am so tired of my blood pressure through the roof and the fact that my knees hurt every time I get off the recliner. I’m so tired of this help me code read. Oh, okay. Well, let’s have you eat this and not eat that. And then you get mad. So you’ve made the choice to come to us. We’re putting you on a path. Don’t sit there and say well, I can’t have the written the Cheez Whiz out of the can. Oh, no, no, you can, but you ain’t getting away with it. Yeah, the Piper will be paid.

Yes, that Piper will be paid is going to happen, guys. And when you look at the family that are choosing to eat like this and you’re choosing health instead, just remember the Piper will be paid your 17-year-old son, they could eat a half a pizza. That’s not gonna last for long. That’s not going to be okay for long. Every time you eat gluten, you do whether you have celiac or gluten sensitivities or anything like that, everybody, you damage your gut lining when you eat gluten. It’s not if you damage it’s Yes you are. Some people can heal. Some people can’t. So those of you that have to be gluten-free because of celiac disease. It is no fair that he gets to eat pizza and I don’t well guess what he’s damaging his gut lining too. It’s just that his has the ability to not cause as many problems as yours does. It’s still happening. It’s still happening.

It’s still happening. And what we hear people are rebels say, especially like this girl, she said they’ll see their kids or other people that are skinny on the out like skinny when you look at them, they’ll say, but they’re fine when they eat it, but they’re not. You don’t know what they’re feeling. See, we have become habituated to brain fog in our society. We just we have gotten used to it. We walk around with brain fog. We walk around chronically dehydrated, we walk around chronically sleep-deprived, we’ve just gotten used to this. And so you say, Well, he’s fine. You don’t know what he’s feeling like. He went out drinking last night woke up the next morning feeling fantastic. What No, that’s the thing you don’t know. You

Unknown Speaker  15:42

know what his livers doing? Oh,

Cristy  15:44

yeah, exactly. And you don’t know what he you don’t know if he’s got a headache right now. You don’t know what he feels because we’ve just gotten so used to walk around with that brain fog with eating copious amounts of sugar and drinking every night and things like that. And not drinking water and not getting plenty of sleep. You Act like someone is fine, or that person is fine. That’s what you think when you look at that person I know I’m getting so mad because they go out for sushi 234 times a week. They’re totally fine. Well, no, you don’t know that they’re totally fine. And they don’t even know the other side of the lights. They don’t know. They think they’re fine too. But really, they’ve never felt the other side so they don’t even know what fine feels like

Carrie  16:22

Christy. A lot of people that come to code read, they say this and I know you’re going to know what I bet you know what I’m going to say? They say I never knew how bad I was feeling before. When I started feeling good. I had no idea how bad it had gotten. They don’t know because it is like the matrix. I compare Code Red to the matrix red pill blue pill. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it and once you feel what it’s like to be off the sugar and off the junk and in recovering from your addiction to carbage it is such a different Feeling that when you try to go back, you go, oh, but you don’t know unless you’ve never been down that road. Those people that you’re looking at my friend, that’s super skinny. She doesn’t know what it probably feels like to sleep really good at night, to wake up with energy to feel good about yourself to go. I’m not trying to be gross, but to have regular bowel movements to pee and it’s clear and it’s not concentrated. Do you know what I mean? They don’t know because they haven’t been down that road. They just have no idea on the 10-pound takedown challenge during the 30 Day Challenge. We actually watch homework. We watch a documentary every weekend together as a group. And the homework one of the homework assignments I believe in you’ll remember this is that the Mountain Dew kid, there’s a kid and I’ll remember if this is our homework assignment or just a documentary I’ve ever heard, I think it’s the other

Cristy  17:49

sugar film. Yeah. What’s the Australian guy? So that sugar film is the film that I’m referring to. And they talked about, I don’t know which town it was, but it was a town where Mountain Dew has to subsidize the town and they put Mountain Dew everywhere. It’s available to everybody and everybody drinks it. So they had this one kid, super skinny. He’s been drinking Mountain Dew literally out of a bottle since he was and now he’s now he’s 2223 24 years old. He’s got no teeth in his head. They’ve all been pulled out. He’s got no teeth, and his organs are literally just rotting. And but everybody looks at him. I think he’s skinny. And he’s got ABS showing through. And he’s so malnourished and so sick. And I’m telling you whether you think that your friend or your child or somebody in your family member is getting away with it, they’re not it.

We’ll catch up with them next week, next month, next year or the next 10 years, just like it did Carrie and my friend that just passed away recently at a very early age in his 40s from obesity-related disease and unchecked diabetes and all that kind of stuff. preventable, totally preventable. It caught up to him and it didn’t catch up at 35 or 40. But it caught up at 47.

Carrie  18:57

The Piper will be paid Really Happened, guys, it really is. And so I would encourage you, when you see those people don’t preach to them. Don’t tell them all that just live your life be your example and realize that all is not what it seems that the matrix does exist behind the lies you’ve been told. And you know, I think that now a lot of models and modeling industries probably are healthy and self health-conscious, and they seem to eat well, you know, but I think certainly there was a time when drinking Diet Pepsi all day and snorting cocaine was how you stayed skinny. So we look at those women and we say, Oh my gosh, they’re so beautiful. Oh my gosh, they look so great. Oh my gosh, they’re so skinny. Yeah, but they’re snorting coke and drinking Diet Coke all day. I mean, it’s like, what price? Do they get to participate in these behaviors? At what price?

Cristy  19:48

And you need to understand also that everybody pays that price at different times. Yes, I will tell you right now, you know, you’ve heard if you’ve listened to all our podcasts, you’ve heard me joke about the taco shells. I have no Had taco shells since because a couple of months ago and it’s been a few months now. I have some taco shells and I had some it just an adverse reaction to them. It was horrible. I was very, very sick. I don’t know what happened, but I haven’t had a cent. So when you are, it’s kind of a good news, bad news. When you eat a clean diet, drink your water and sleep, your palate becomes cleanse your body becomes less you don’t have a tolerance for the Domino’s Pizza that you once had. And so you’re my let’s see, Christy’s reaction to something is going to be immediate. I’m going to feel it within the hour. I’m going to write a horrible next day and carry it to Karis next day will be wrong. And so we might learn our lesson Whoa, we’re about to pay the piper. I don’t want to go down that road again. We might learn a lesson right away. It might take somebody weeks and months everybody’s gonna learn their lesson at different times. You are on a different journey than someone’s you might watch somebody abused food and alcohol and sugar for years. And you’re sitting back chicken your head saying how are they getting away with it, believe me, they’re not going to get away with it. It’s just going to come at a different time. It came for you.

Carrie  21:01

That’s a really good point. Chris, you just absolutely never know what is happening behind the scenes and we had somebody that we knew recently who said they were angry at a buffet and were crying because they couldn’t eat the desserts. So that doesn’t disgust me because I get that. I used to walk into Home Depot and see like the Swedish Fish and the Ritz with the cheese and be angry that those were there. Like it’s like the whole world’s against me. But it is and why can their family have four desserts and why? But the behavioral problems everything that is happening behind the scenes that you don’t know about, is is going to take place but I am telling you I understand that resentment, I understand that anger that frustration that other people seem to get away with it. But please know that they are really not even though It is such a weird feeling you get when you have a lot of weight to lose. And again, it’s all about perspective and how you choose to spin it because you’re getting healthy. And that’s going to help you in the long run. I just think about the years I wasted Krissy not losing the weight, the years I wasted. And that makes me sad. That keeps me on the straight and narrow. You know,

Cristy  22:21

there’s so much going on behind the scenes that you’re not thinking because we don’t know the chemical reactions that are happening in the body, right, you need to understand that you do dig your grave with your fork, you dig your grave with your fork, and every single time you take a bite and that’s how granular it needs to be for you in your mind that every bite you take is either taking you down this path or this path. It is there’s no gray area here is black or white. It’s early death or it’s a long healthy life and no seatbelt extender or embarrassment that you’re walking towards that guy and see 23 A and he realizes that you’re sitting next to him we’re gonna lop over two thirds into his seat. Okay, so it’s black or white. You guys Every single forkful so when you cheat, when you do cheat on your on code read and you do like I’m just gonna blah, blah, blah, you’re it’s gonna take you a while to get read the talks, to get detox and to get that back out of your body and back out and get off that cycle of sugar, carbs, that horrible cycle when you eat the sugar carbs, you get on that cycle of being obsessed with them and eat more and more because you could become habituated to it every time you cheat. So every bite you take really is making that decision and it’s healing for every Code Red bite you take of asparagus and steak and bacon and eggs and cream cheese and cottage cheese and, and vegetables with butter and Redmond real salt on it. That is healing your body. every bite heals your body and it gets you closer to a lifelong healing.

Carrie  23:46

Do you think Chrissy I was just kind of thinking about this resentment that I’ve seen from a lot of rebels and I’ve experienced although I’m way past that I just look at it now and go. Yeah, well, yeah, I could have it but it’s not gonna do me any good. You know what I mean? think I’ve changed my attitude. Do you think this resentment? Is it like a frustration over having to lose the weight? Or do you think it’s a righteous indignation? Like, I am so justified in not eating this? And it’s, you know, they need to know or you know what I mean? Is it just a frustrating thing?

Cristy  24:20

I think more than the indignation, it’s a frustrating thing. Because they don’t see if we all have X rays into people’s bodies. We could see what’s really happening and I don’t see that so they forget now you and I carry we’re trained in this especially you have the insulin, the pancreas, the liver, and what is happening in the kidneys, and all the chemical functions and we don’t even know that hormone system is incredibly complex. And Carrie and I have a pretty good grasp of the glucagon and the epinephrine and norepinephrine and all the chemical reactions that are happening, but the average person doesn’t see that all they see is somebody taking a bite of a Krispy Kreme, enjoying that moment And believe me, it’s just a moment And they forget the damage. And then they also forget the healing that’s taking place in there. So they’re just not seeing I don’t think the deeper issue.

Carrie  25:07

You know what, one thing I taught on one time and it seems to have helped a lot of rebels. So let me show you guys this and or just explain this to you and maybe this will be helpful as you’re dealing with these feelings of resentment and feeling like somebody is getting away with it. I use this once and it worked for me. And I look at the food item that I want cotton candy, popcorn, you know, whatever it is like and again, I’m not saying anything’s bad, there are just better choices. And so you look at, although I think cotton candy is pretty, probably just sugar.

Unknown Speaker  25:39

I don’t think that

Cristy  25:41

Yeah, we’re gonna open up a Kool-Aid packet and put in your mouth. But anyway, you look at it and you say, I’ve tasted that many times. I’ve tasted that I know exactly what that tastes like. I know exactly what it feels like. In my mouth. I know exactly what it feels like as it’s laying down my throat. I know exactly the feeling. I Get when I eat it. So you know what cotton candy. You’ve never done me any favors. You’ve never done me any favors. buttered movie popcorn. You’ve never done me any favors. You know the Twix bar. I know exactly what it tastes like, and you’ve never done me any favors. I’ve experienced this I’ve been down this road. This road is why I am where I am right now at 270 this road of popcorn and Twix bars and all you can eat buffets and dessert bars and fondues and all that crap. that’s gotten me where I am. And I know what it all tastes like. Anything. I told you, Christy I could say all in Roca, you’d be like Yep, I know what it tastes like. I can say shrimp. You’d be like, yep. So our minds hold those memories. And looking at that food item and say you’ve done me no favors. is a really powerful tool to take the power away from the food item and put it back in your hands. I like that and I’ve used that too. You’ve done me no favors. We heard that from A family member or maybe you said it as somebody said it oh I’m sure it was me no i i think that people that rebels that have been losing weight for a long time they’ve on the straight and narrow for a long time they forget how crappy the food the bad food made them feel. Oh yeah, I think that in sometimes and we’re not certainly not advocating this but sometimes when they do cheat and they put those poisonous foods in their body those chemical crap in their body, then they quickly remember Oh, there are the headaches there’s a stomach ache, there’s the diarrhea, there’s the constipation, and then they they remember I know that anytime I have any kind of stuff I quickly remember why I stay away from I like their Lord. That’s why I don’t you know, because I just think when you’re losing weight for a long time you just stop it. It’s tough and values to feel because you feel so good now for so long. People that have 100 pounds to lose and you know, whatever people get weight off pretty quick with code read but people that have to do it for a year or more. Yeah, I mean, it’s it’s a grind, y’all I mean it It’s an easy grind with code read but it’s a grind. I was holding my fingers up to remember this. I love when Chrissy tells people when you got the big bloated belly and you got that sick to your stomach feeling because you did whatever. Take a video of yourself. I feel like crap right now I just do and I ate a bag of Jolly Ranchers and I just carry Listen, this sucks. Take a video of yourself. Talking about that in my belly. Yeah, show your belly.

Yes, that’s a great idea.

Yeah. And find yourself how you feel like so you don’t have to get this feeling I don’t ever want to come back here again.

Carrie  28:36

Yep, I’ll never forget you know as a lot of you may or may not know I am a failed weight loss surgery survivor not only just weight loss surgery but several surgeries to try to repair it and ended up with like an almost like a row and why with the nicked a bow had to take out bowels it was just a hot mess. Well because of those choices and then the mistakes consequences those mistakes. I live with a lot of G problems. And I do find, I mean, I’m straightened out. I’m on the straight and narrow, I do a good job. But let me tell you at one point when I wasn’t doing as good, I had something that I knew would affect because of my gi status. And it was horrible. I had to lay in a hot shower with water running on my tummy. And I said to myself, don’t ever forget how that felt carry and I’ve never done eating that thing again because it made me so sick again. I’m a different situation, but it is you want to get disgusted and never forget that that French bread with half a tub of butter, did you no favors?

Cristy  29:37

No. And we just want to remind you guys again that Listen, you might think well I don’t know how we titled this, but you might think that that looks good. But then what do we say?

Carrie  29:47

You might think today getting away with it but they get away with the Piper, the Piper is going to be paid and karma is coming around the corner. She’s got a big bat in her hand. Now again, we aren’t wishing bad things on people. No, we’re just making you aware of the facts. It’s easy to see Christie when it’s something big, like, kids aren’t passing school. They don’t say the mom and dad don’t make them, hey, you’re not gonna pass. And then it’s like, oh, that was easy. But because you can’t see the pancreas wearing out, because they can’t make the islet cells can’t make any more insulin, they’re worn out, because you can’t see that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. So I think it’s really important. The processes in life, we can see that one guy that’s cheating on his wife six times in a row. We know he’s gonna get caught up, but he just got caught. She burned all this stuff on the front line. Well, I’ve been drinking Mountain Dew every single day for 40 years ends up with type two diabetes, just because I can’t see that pathophysiological process going on doesn’t mean it’s not as obvious as this one.

Cristy  30:47

I reminds me of an old you guys remember the Twilight Zone the old ones back in the like the old Twilight Zone back. Okay, well, there’s a twilight zone episode. Yeah. Some of us will get that some of us won’t. There is a twilight zone episode where somebody wish this guy wished he had a chance to do something he wished that he could see through ladies’ clothing and look at their movies, right? Well, of course, every wish comes with always a bad side. And so he had X-ray and then he got this wish I don’t remember of the wish or how it happened. But he was being able to see ladies undergarments and their movies and stuff, you know, and so, and then all of a sudden, his vision would keep penetrating and he could see further into their ribcage beyond to their organs. And he could see all the internal organs and everything and he was like, Oh, you know, and that’s

Carrie  31:36

that one. Krissy that’s just it was like a dress.

Cristy  31:39

Yeah, raw and all sudden, right past the boobies and then it’s like Cuckoo. Cuckoo. Right? It’s a heartbeat. No, no, and he didn’t want to see anymore You know, and that’s what it’s like if you could truly see inside someone’s body instead of just looking at the outside. Like my half Asian friend. I’m telling you she is not healthy. I am telling you right now I’m See, I know her lifestyle. She’s under stress just get enough sleep she drinks too much. I mean it’s all these things but she looks sure looks pretty in a dress. But that is such a small portion of the picture. I’m telling you everybody pays the Piper at some point, it will catch up to him. Do not let that derail you by you getting off on one night of your friends having Taco Tuesday, a man I’m telling you, that chocolate Tuesday’s are going to add up and they’re going to be in a really tough spot and so

Carrie  32:27

you’re a size 22 Taco Tuesday. Yep. I mean, that’s what guys you know how I got fat eating my kid’s food off of their plates. Whenever growing up.

Cristy  32:40

You think? much. You think it’s just once Well, I’ll just once I’ll go ahead and just eat the leftover chicken McNuggets off their plate just once but you keep doing that that crap adds up. Yeah, Christy’s absolutely right.

Carrie  32:52

So eat just because you can’t see the process doesn’t mean it’s not taking place.

Cristy  32:56

It’s going to catch up, Jerry true. All right. Let’s let you guys go I see that Annabel came over here I left Annabel outside and I just see she came over to the window and she’s looking at me like mommy let me Is she going to talk to you and Carrie for finding at the door and I have not let her in and then I see she came around to the window to look at me to try to get my attention so like when I would try to go potty my kids would get up next to the door and go What are you doing with our lips on the crack and I would say I’m going potty. Whoa, look.

Carrie  33:30
