Save money and reduce stress by keeping meals simple, filling, and delicious

We need food to survive.

What we DON’T need is for food to be complicated.

Take casseroles. Yeah, they’re interesting and exciting. But they’re also packed full of hidden, empty calories that sneak on the pounds.

My clients (or people who join one of my challenges) learn to how to make simple, delicious, filling meals that don’t require a bunch of weird ingredients.

Nothing “wrong” with gourmet meals. What I’m saying is making a meal the whole family will rave about is a LOT easier than you think.

And think how much time, money, and stress YOU save when meals are fast and simple?

I can’t tell you how many moms I know who slave away for HOURS when they could be spending just a few minutes per meal.

Here’s ONE example of a simple, filling, Code-Red approved meal: Fry some bacon. When it’s finished cooking, season your favorite veggies and fry those in the bacon grease. Melt some butter on them (REAL butter, not margarine!) while they’re still warm. Add a few fresh cherry tomatoes to the plate.

For dessert, pour heavy whipping cream over strawberries and add a little Stevia.

Pretty simple, isn’t it?

On the Code Red Lifestyle, we view food as fuel. Not as a reward, a punishment, a celebration, or a reason to feel guilty or ashamed.

And we keep our food simple, filling, and delicious.
