Rebel victories for the week of December 19, 2020

No matter what adversity life throws your way, it’s 100% doable to stay on track. Code Red Rebels are not only experiencing victories, they’re THRIVING in ways they would not be if they hadn’t joined the Code Red Lifestyle™…and I bet my mohawk you can relate to these. Keep reading to see what I mean:

K.O.:  I am literally crying now! I hit my goal yesterday and I haven’t stopped crying since! I am SO proud of myself! Dude I lost 110 pounds!! How can I not be proud of myself??!! I did this!!

N.H.: I no longer am on insulin and don’t have to check my sugars my next goal is to be off my metformin for good! I’m in this to win this! When I get compliments I say thank you so much! Just gotta keep going! I’m gonna be 100 percent healthy when I get to my goal. I’ve been told by so many people I work with at the hospital that they are proud of me that I cant stop now I feel like if I did id let them down!

L.L.: I made GOAL today, Cristy! So I celebrated on how far I went on my journey. I had such a big grin when I stepped on the scale this morning. And my face hurt from smiling all day today! Woo Hoooo! You made it all happen, thank you Cristy CodeRed!

K.H.M.: Yesterday I put on a pair of jeans that were uncomfortably tight on me before the challenge. They are what I considered my “fat” jeans, size 24!!! I was able to pull them down, over my hips without unbuttoning them!!!!! So I dug out my size 22 and they are comfortable!!! I am so excited for the rest of my journey.

M.R.: Two week update. I am a Type 2 diabetic on a small amount of insulin. Below are screenshots from my flash glucose monitor, showing a typical day pre Code Red and a screenshot from this morning. Full disclosure- the 2 week sensor I’m currently wearing is way off my blood levels; the average is about 20-23 points off. I’m watching trend/pattern. Even with the deviation, my fingersticks show I’m currently averaging 10-15 points lower than I usually run AND per my doctor, I quit using Novolog with meals while doing Code Red (literally doctors orders). I have also cut back 1u basal insulin from morning and evening as well. Down 5.2 lbs as of this morning.
