There’s a quote that says comparison is the thief of joy, and man is that the truth.
 
Comparing yourself to other people is almost always a losing battle that leaves you feeling inadequate.
 
A little healthy competition can be motivating, but competition and comparison aren’t the same thing.
 
If you’re gonna compare yourself to someone or something, compare yourself to where you were yesterday. Or even to last month, or last year.
