Does losing weight HAVE to be hard?
It depends on who you ask.
If you still believe weight loss with real food, water, and sleep is hard, because you’re focused on what you’re “giving up” and “missing out on”…while ignoring what you’re already giving up and missing out on because you don’t like how you look or feel and you don’t feel like YOU…
Then yeah, it can feel pretty hard.
And if you ask me what I think, I say pick your hard, because it’s all hard.
But what about other Rebels? Do THEY all think it’s hard?
Decide for yourself after you read what a Code Red Rebel posted in the Code Red network when I asked some Rebels there to share one thing they love about the Code Red program:
“I love the simplicity of the program. A few rules, the eat and do not eat lists and you’re pretty much good to go. Also how important the water and sleep is. I was not a water drinker before Code Red. It’s amazing how well the body does when you give it what it needs. I also am where I look at food as fuel for my body and not an aid for soothing every emotion. It is hands down the easiest program to lose weight.“
Let’s take a closer look at some of your other options for losing weight that might seem easier in some ways than Code Red.
You can…
Make it as complicated and time-consuming as possible by trying to out-train your diet with 2-3 hours of weights and cardio per day for 5-6 days a week, plus cram in 3 meals and 2 snacks a day for 7 days a week…
Get your hopes up with “too good to be true” options like the latest magic diet pill, patch, cleanse powder, shake, bar, or processed “diet food” that claim to let you keep eating your “favorite foods”…only to fail you a few pounds in…
Go under the knife and pay for the expense of weight loss surgery, which permanently alters your digestive system (depending on which form of it you get) and can lead to lifelong complications…all while setting you up to regain any weight you lose by NOT addressing the root cause of your weight problem, like sugar addiction, emotional eating, etc…
Or, you can make it simple and sustainable with a lifestyle where you get to eat rich, delicious real food, plus drink water, sleep, and follow a few simple rules…all while learning the nature of the trap so you can finally end the yo-yo diet cycle.
“But Code Red CAN’T be that simple! There MUST be a catch!”
Yep, and it’s this: for Code Red to work, you’ve gotta work the program.
If you kinda sorta do it, you’ll kinda sorta get results.
Look, I get that committing to a new way feels intimidating, and maybe even scary.
But that’s why I created the 10 Pound Takedown…to give you 30 days to go all-in with Code Red to lose some weight, see how you feel, and see what you think.
