The diet industry and all its gimmicks, fads, and quick fixes are engineered to keep you losing weight forever.
It’s one giant trap they don’t want you to see, because as soon as you do, you’ll quit forking over your hard-earned money on stuff that’s just gonna keep your weight yo-yoing for the rest of your life.
Here are the top three ways the diet industry sets you up to fail.
1. They want you to believe you can eat what you want when you want, lose your weight, and keep it off.
Am I saying doing this is impossible?
No. But I am saying it takes a lot longer (if it works at all), and you’re a lot more likely to sabotage yourself, because odds are the “foods you love” are at least partially responsible for your weight and health problems.
2. They don’t teach you how to keep the weight off.
Shake companies, diet pill companies, diet food companies–they all want you as customers for as long as possible, which means they need you to believe their gimmick is the only way to lose your weight and keep it off.
That’s why, when you stop taking their product or eating their frankenfood, your weight piles right back on!
3. They don’t talk about nutrition’s role in your health.
Did you know eating the right foods and eliminating the unhealthy ones, along with drinking water and sleeping, can heal high blood pressure, Type II diabetes, chronic pain, skin problems (to name a few health problems), and can even improve your eyesight?
You may read that sentence above and think it sounds like voodoo.
If so, that just goes to show how brainwashed our society is.
