Can I benefit from supplements if my diet isn’t “perfect?”

Supplements. When you take good quality, absorbable versions, there’s no denying they can help.

Case in point: Read what a Code Red client named Mari says about two of Code Red’s supplements:

“I love the sleep bundle of Sleep Assist and Calm! I have tried so many other sleep aides, including prescriptions and find these 2 items work the best. I alternate between the two and consists get sleep scores in the high 80’s or low 90’s. I recommend this to everyone who asks me how I get such good sleep! After all sleep is so important to weight loss!”

Here’s what a Rebel named Michele says about Code Red D3:

“My doctor told me to take a Vitamin D3 because my level was low.  That was December of 2024.  January of 2025, I joined Code Red and started taking Cristy’s Vitamin D3.  Fast forward to July 2025 and my vitamin D3 is now 66 which is in the normal range.  After 7 months my doctor was so excited with this increase.

And here’s what a Rebel named Betsy says about Code Red Magnesium:

“I have suffered leg cramps at night for years. When I started on a VIP homestudy program Code Red I learned that a lack of magnesium could contribute to the leg cramps. The Code Red Magnesium came with the VIP program so I started taking them and my nighttime leg cramps went away. When I ran out, I grabbed a giant bottle from Costco and my leg cramps returned. I decided to give the Code Red Mag another try but honestly thought it was just a fluke. My leg cramps disappeared again. I cannot say enough about the quality of the Code Red Magnesium and I make sure I never run out. 3. I would absolutely recommend the Code Red Magnesium!!”

Supplements CAN:

  • Help compensate for “gaps” in your nutrition
  • Support (add to) a healthy diet and lifestyle
  • Address/bring relief/potentially help eliminate physical and mental wellness challenges (depending on the challenge)

But can they help you in a way that allow you to keep “doing what you want” without having to make ANY other changes?

The short answer: it depends.

Supplements are exactly that: SUPPLEMENTS. They’re meant to SUPPLEMENT what you’re doing, NOT “take the place of it.”

For example, all you consume on a daily basis are Little Debbie’s cookies and a gallon of Pepsi, supplements might help a little (assuming they’re good quality), but they can’t “make up for” a diet that low in nutrition and high in sugar.

Here’s what it takes to get the absolute most bang for your buck when it comes to supplements:

  • Choose high-quality, highly absorbable supplements make with premium ingredients and free of inflammatory fillers
  • Eat a diet based mostly in whole, real foods and low in sugar and processed foods
  • Get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of water (even if it means drinking fewer non-water beverages in order to make space for water)

When you’ve got a good foundation, you’ll get the most possible benefit from supplements.

Otherwise, taking supplements can be a little like putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg. It might help, but not that much.
