Why Brittany joined the Transformation contest (and won!)

Brittany entered the first ever Rebel Transformation Contest back in January of 2024, and went on to win the $10,000 grand prize.

Here’s what she said about why she joined:

“Hello Friends. I wanted to give you an update on the Code Red Transformation Contest I recently completed. The Transformation Contest was a six week challenge. The winner would be determined by who made the biggest transformation during that time and that would be determined solely with before and after photos.

“I decided to join the challenge to combat the weight I had gained from quitting smoking and literally taking a break from caring. What you might not know is what ‘terrible’ (yet good) timing it was.”

During the challenge, one family member in Brittany’s household left to hike the Appalachian Trail, another was diagnosed with Mono, still another started struggling with unknown stomach pain that sent Brittany and her family to multiple doctors, urgent care and even the emergency room. 

Here’s what else Brittany said:

“Our house was a hot mess. While I couldn’t control the things happening with all of my children, I could control what I put in my mouth. I could control how many times I went to yoga to put myself in the right mindset. Inevitably the control over these things allowed me to show up as my best self for my kids and allowed me to show up as my best self for me.

“I have entered many a contest and not finished many a contest. In fact prior to this the only challenge I ever finished was a Code Red 30 day 10 lb takedown.

“I’m 8 lbs from goal weight and I feel amazing!! Thank you all for your support. It’s been a truly life changing experience. Thank you Cristy CodeRed for this amazing opportunity 💕”
