I’m not a fancy eater AT ALL. I’m totally happy throwing together a hodgepodge of random stuff from the fridge.
Some people out there are the same way, but many aren’t. They enjoy food and the process of eating a lot more than I do.
I don’t hate food or anything, obviously, but it’s not a big deal to me the way it is some people.
If you’re someone who really enjoys food and the process of eating, it doesn’t mean the Code Red Lifestyle can’t or won’t work for you.
It does mean you may need a bigger mental adjustment than some to embrace the fact simple food can be delicious and fulfilling.
Once you make that adjustment, you may even find it frees you to be okay with something simple during those times when you don’t have 3 hours to prepare one gourmet meal.
Tons of “food lovers” have enjoyed success on Code Red. Don’t rule yourself out just because you enjoy food more than someone like me does.

Quick warning: One ingredient in my meal is not approved for weight loss mode, and that’s sweet potatoes. I take people off them because I find they stall weight loss. Once you reach goal weight you can add them back if you want.
