It’s also one that’s usually overlooked, especially in weight loss.
So about what I mean when I say identity…
If you’ve ever had a weight problem (more than 5-10 pounds), a part of your identity is what you can think of as the “inner fat girl” (or guy).
Basically, it’s a bunch of beliefs, behaviors, and patterns that, when they’re running the show in your head, lead to the outcome of being fat (and often sick).
If you’ve battled your weight for a long time, your inner fat girl (or guy) is pretty strong…which means that what SHE wants is what feels easiest to do right now.
But there is also a part of you that does NOT want to be fat and sick, or you probably wouldn’t even be reading this.
And with the daily Code Red Identity Shift process (which is fun, simple, and takes about 10 minutes day – maybe less) strengthens the part of you that does NOT wanna be fat…
So that doing what it takes to get and keep the weight off starts to feel easier.
And when it feels easy to do, you’re much more likely to do it. (I mean, you tell me – if doing what works felt easy, would you gladly just do it?)
